‍Bowdown Dance Academy is of one Malmö's premiere dance schools and a part of the non-profit organisation Hela Malmö. With a focus on happiness, quality and community the dance school offers classes for children, youth and adults, regardless of earlier experience.

At Bowdown Dance Academy dance is more than steps and choreography. Bowdown creates a safe and including environment where participants can develop, build self confidence and find community through movement and creativity. The classes are taught by professional instructors in, amongst others, hiphop, dancehall, afrofusion, commercial, reggaeton and high heels.

During Malmö Dance Week Bowdown Dance Academy is offering inspiring activities where visitors can experience the energy, creativity and togetherness that signifies Bowdown. Regardless if the participants are beginners or experienced dancers, all are welcome to take part in and experience the joy of dancing together.

Through Dance Bowdown wants to inspire the next generation, create new possibilities and show the power culture has to unite people and create positive change.
