Open audition for Iver and Clara Bajado´s new dance piece 2022

Calling for dancers with strong level of freestyle within any street dance styles.
Iver & Malmö Dance Week producing a new piece together with the choreographer Clara Bajado.
The piece will be played during 2022 with booked performance dates at Norrlandsoperan and Malmö Dance Week.

• Open audition
• Auditions will be held as a workshop 
• No preparation needed
• Dancers will be observed individually as well as in a team setting 
• Candidates should have a strong level of Freestyle in any Street Dance Styles

PROJECT: 

• Creative and production work will be led by Clara Bajado but artists will also have their creative touch as well as their performance input in this project.

Clara Bajado

Clara has more than 20 years experience as performer, teacher, mentor, event producer and choreographer.  She is a pioneer in House Dance community and the Hip Hop scene and pushes everyone to give their best. She is born, raised and trained in Paris with a Filipino heritage. After years traveling with her dance Clara settled in London in the early 2000’s where she created Indahouse to promote Housedance & House Music Culture.

Criteria

• Everyone who applies must be available during the entire rehearsal period and the performance dates.
• Minimum age 18 years

‍

Salary: 

• Paid rehearsals and show days. 
• Salary according to collective agreement.
• Iver covers travel and accommodation during show days.
• A limited accommodation support can be offered during the rehearsal period for dancers who do not live in Malmö or have the opportunity to arrange it themselves.
• The travel to and from the rehearsal is booked and covered by the dancer themselfs
